Nightforge — Privacy Policy
One-thumb survivor-like where an AI director forges a nightly counter-meta boss.

Summary
Nightforge is an offline-first single-player game: fully playable with no account, no sign-in, and no network connection. We do not collect your name, email, phone, contacts, photos, or location. There is no advertising and no ad SDKs. Some anonymous, aggregated gameplay statistics and crash/analytics diagnostics may be sent off-device only when those features are enabled, and only in the categories described here.
Nightforge is not yet published to a live web address. Optional telemetry is consent-gated where a consent screen is presented; declining leaves the game fully playable.
Data stored on your device
- Game progress and meta-progression (best times, kills, unlocks, achievements, mastery, streaks, daily-boss state)
- Settings and accessibility preferences
- A random, anonymous install identifier (not the Android Advertising ID; not linked to your identity) used only on-device
- Your rival ("Effigy") names, derived on-device
Data we collect
Anonymous aggregated gameplay statistics (planned, when enabled)
To power the nightly "Architect" boss-design system, the game may upload anonymized, aggregated statistics (which builds were used, run length, common causes of death). These describe gameplay, not people — no name, email, account, contacts, location, or device identifier. Where a consent screen is shown you may decline and still play.
Crash & performance diagnostics (Sentry, when enabled)
Technical crash data (error message, stack trace, app version, device model, OS version). No device contents or personal identifiers.
Product analytics (PostHog, when enabled)
Anonymous app-interaction events keyed to an anonymous analytics identifier, used to improve onboarding and retention.
Advertising
No advertising and no advertising SDKs; we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Third parties
We do not sell or rent your data. Limited service providers may process data only to run the game:

Children
Nightforge is not directed to children under 13 (or the regional equivalent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices & data deletion
Clear the app's data or uninstall to remove local data. Aggregated statistics cannot be re-identified to you. To ask a privacy question or request deletion, contact us.
Changes
We will update this policy as the game changes and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app and store listings where required.
